The Blue Carbon Academy is a free online platform produced by Fair Carbon to de-risk early-stage blue carbon projects by offering accessible and actionable step-by-step guidance covering the entire project development journey, from project inception to carbon credit accreditation and financing. The Academy provides local communities, project developers, buyers, and governments with practical resources, templates, and tools reviewed by the world’s premier blue carbon experts. Modules cover blue carbon fundamentals, project feasibility assessment, governance design, standard accreditation, monitoring and verification, and carbon market access. An introductory Blue Carbon 101 series provides a foundation for those new to blue carbon and carbon markets.
